Takes its name from the Greek word ‘Vrachos’, which means rock. The name is inspired by the impressive rock formation that rises above the estate and stands as its natural landmark

Ours begins with a rock.
Quietly standing above the property, it has been part of this landscape long before Vrachos was here.
Around it, olive trees grow, herbs fill the air and the three lodges look towards the southern Cretan horizon.
We simply gave the place the name it already had.

A place to unwind
Wake up to the light over the mountains. Have coffee beneath the olive trees. Take a swim before lunch. Drive to a hidden beach. Come back when the sun begins to fall. Eat something local. Stay outside a little longer.
Nothing is planned. And that is the plan.
The light changes. The wind moves through the olive trees. The sea is always somewhere in the distance.
